Subject: V3 Male Morph Pak faces not working

Although the full body injector morphs on my "V3 MalePak" work fine, **I can not get the individual male character faces to work.** Every time I try and apply a face I get a series of error messages asking for files that do not exist on my hard drive (see attachment).

I have NOT been moving folders around or deleating things, and I have all the latest service releases applied for Poser 4, Victoria 3, V3 body morph pack, V3 head morph pack, and V3 male morph pack.

The order I am appying the morphs is:

  1. V3 Male full body morph
  2. V3 Male head morph #2
  3. individual male character (in the Faces library)

Does anyone know how I can fix this error?

The files are named wrong.

Go to daz and log in and the fix should be in your download folder. They finaly figured out what was wrong , see thread . Or you can fix it your self . its just missing a PBM infront of the DC_ so it sould be PBMDC_

Thanks for the responses, that solves the mystery.

Unfortunately, I have not heard a peep out of DAZ about the availability of this fix. You would think they would email their customers who puchased the V3 Male Morphs and notify them.

Has anyone found the download link yet?

They did email their customers. I got one last night from Ryan Bouche. Perhaps yours just hasn't arrived yet?

This is another complete update in addition to that. It's a whole new exe (same name, but you have to delete some folders before installing to make sure it installs properly)

HI With the new version youll get from you account page you dont need to apply the seperate update from the product page as this is now included in the figure. You still need to have the other vic3 sr1.1 base and head morph updates though. I've downloded and installed it and it seems to be working fine now.

I got no email and there was nothing waiting for me on my account page....? And, after reading the other thread referred to in this one, I checked for a ReadMe that would list all those files that have to be deleted manually before I use the installer, but there's just the standard DAZ ReadMe. So I'm printing out the list and will delete them myself, but you know, this is getting to be a real pain... :(

This is the email. The folders that need to be deleted are on the bottom. I wouldn't do it until you get the corrected exe though. "Thank you all for your patience and help in sorting this out. It's been frustrating, especially when you can't find anything wrong on the computer right in front of you, until you go all the way back to the beginning. ( We deleted everything we had on the Male pak and started from the very first installer and were able to find the misnamed files.) OK, so here is the official word (I checked everything twice, this better work...) Due to misnamed files an update for the Male Morph Pak has been uploaded to the DAZ store. You should see available a new download from your account page to download the complete new installer. The date on this installer should be 02/03/03. Before running the installer please delete the following folders from your Poser Runtime folder to insure only the correct files are on your computer. "MalePak" in Runtimelibraries!DAZVictoria 3 "!V3 MalePak Heads" in Runtimelibrariesface "!MAT V3 MalePak" "!V3 MalePak INJ" "!V3 MalePak REM" "!V3 MalePak CH INJ" and "!V3 MalePak CH REM" in RuntimelibrariesPose Ryan Bouche tech@daz3d.com DAZ Productions Check out our Tech Support Database!!"

I just talked to Ryan Bouche on the phone. DAZ is having to manually go through the orders and post the updates customer by customer. They are still working their way through the list. I had not received my update either.

I wondered why the male pak had popped back on my account page! i brought it when it first came out - thanks for the tip off guys.
