I am going to get flamed for this, BUT.... I don't appreciate Red XIII getting ripped off so utterly and blatantly. If this was freestuff, that would be kinda cool, but to sell it? I highly disapprove. 'Nuff said. Jennifer

Well, I won't flame you. I actually gave it alot of consideration before choosing this particular character as the front (default) character for the figure. There are vererydistinct differences in the two. For starters XIII is more cat like than dog like. I actually had to do quite a bit of morphing to get it to this character, from the original mesh. And as you can see from the image above, there are many other head styles to choose from. Also there will be free textures of other kinds to go with this figure. In the end I decided that it was more of a "Knock-off" than a "rip-off". Do you know how many items in the MP are "knock-offs" for other products? What about selling an accurately detailed 1967 Ford Mustang? Is that a rip-off? Or maybe a Daloreon? I did walk the likeness line a bit close, but like I said there are several options for characters in this figure, and this is just one.
