Why me? :) I just installed the V3 Male Morph Pak updater from DAZ yesterday. Then I backed up my Runtime, which takes about 20 minutes. Today, I received an email with a passworded link to get an updated full installer for the Morph Pak. So, I followed the instructions and did the install. Hopefully, this ends the naming problems for the Morph Pak! :) BYS

Your lucky, I didn't get a link, was just told updated installer was added to my account and I could go grab it, couldn't tell the diference from old installer by lookin at EXE file. Course, I havn't had the time to install that particular pack yet, to buzy playing with other stuff.

I know what you mean. Ended up renaming the old one with '_old', so that it wasn't overwritten (just in case). I haven't checked to see if everything's fixed yet, either. Seems like DAZ is in such a hurry to keep people happy until M3 arrives that blunders were made. ;)

I had no problem with the male morphs UNTIL I installed this new patch. I ended up deleting it and reinstalling the old one. I have no idea what I did wrong (I thought I followed the instructions) but I think I'm going to keep what I have for now.

I received my email notice (with link) this evening. Like MachineClaw, I've been too preoccupied to even install the files yet. I suppose it's just as well that I've waited. :)

Now I'm confused...should I or should I not update my male morphs with the Daz morph pak?

I did not get an email, but as I understand it, if you purchased the Male Morph Pack prior to Feb 5 2003, then you can get a completely new installer package by writing to tech@daz3d.com - this is NOT an updater but a complete new install package that resolves all issues. It is product version 1.1 If you have previously installed the product, you probably should remove the previous installation before re-installing with the new packs. If you have not yet installed the Male Morph Pack, just use the new installer WITHOUT doing any of the "UPDATES" (delete the old installer from your archive to avoid future confusion). If you prefer just to update your existing installation, use the updates currently found on the product page - NOTE thes are different from the ones released a week or so ago, and are version 1.1 with filename ending in -SR1.1.exe. If you do not have the SR version 1.1 then you should get it and delete version 1.0. You should also check the other V3 packs for update version 1.1.
