I hope I can get some feedback on my new site. It"s still not finished but the gest is there. 1- Does the background tile on large monitors. I'm still not sure how to set the window size. 2-If my Free Stuff is working. New Fire Pack for the taking. Any sugestions would help. Thank-you Tashar 59

I am on a 17 inch monitor at 800x600 and it loads fine. At 1078 it tiles but it does not really bother me. You can of course use a larger picture. The freebies download good. thanks!

Same as above, 17" 800x600, really looked good; no offscreen scrolling.

I'm on 1280X1024 on a 17" and it tiles a fair bit, nothing that can't be ignored ;) I got the freebies too thanks :)

The wrap on 1024x768 isn't too bad, mainly due to the type of background you have. If the wrap around bugs you, you could try modifying the forest a little so that the left and right borders of the pic are a bit more similar to each other. Easy way would be to extend the right border of the background pic a little and putting on the half tree (foreground, left edge), but mirrored, into the extended bit.

Hello there, You could let the imgage only repeat itself once and put it in the center of the page by using CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). Mail me if you want to know how: john@zwaan.ws Johnnie...

Thanks everyone, this is the first time I have tried this. I don't know a thing about computers. In my 40's and have never used one till a little over a year ago, so this is all trial and error. I don't have a clue what css is. You can imagine what shape my files are in. Is there a set size to use? Or a way to set a certain size? Swannie - I will e-mail you in a few, Thank-you. I will have more in the Free Stuff when I get this finished. I did suprize myself when I wrote a line without thinking and it worked. It's starting to get fun. So much for my long winded Thank-you. I forgot to tell you to use the same jpg. as a transmap too. If you look in my gallery you will see what I mean. Sorry about that. Will fix the read-me after I get some sleep. Night All or should I say good morning. I can see the sun waking up. Tashar 59

Looking good beryld. I wouldnt tile the image either . Just center it in the html codeing or use a table like Swannie said. A table would be better because you could make buttons for the links so they dont blend in to much with the back ground after they have been clicked.
