I'm almost certain someone started a thread about this a while ago, but I'm buggered if I can find it. On the attached image I am getting horizontal, fragmented lines, but I only get it with Kos's Wave Hair, there also seems to be texture inbalances as regards colour, yet I am applying Kos's own mat. pose files so I'm at a loss, any ideas ?

in the matroom make a additional link from the " displacement " node to the texture image and set the value for displacement to 0.001

That's great guys, thanks :) Only 1 thing though, the hair works great on firefly renders, but the fault is still ther on P4 render setting, any ideas on this too would be great but at least I can use the hair again now. Thanks again. MARV
