Got knocked off my motorbike by a f**king mad driver, I was in between her and a parking space and the parking space won. My right knee and shoulder took the inpact of the ground, can't walk or put my right arm up. One lens smashed, body seems ok and the flowers I got for this months comp crushed. But nothing broken and will be up and about again soon, it could off been a lot worse.

Eggiwegs! I would like... to smash them!

No excuse for that, I do hope you will soon be fit again. No joke even it you are unbroken. I hope you got compensation for your lens and any other damage! Best Wishes Pat

Hey Richard...really sorry to hear about that, but really glad to hear that you're still ... well, you know. Another ouch on the lens. Was this woman at least insured? Feel better soon, man. :) -=>Donald

Rich, as a fellow biker you got my sympathy. Dumbass drivers like this.....ngh.... All I can say is get a decent compensation solicitor and take her for everything you can. If she can't watch where she's going she deserves it..... especially considering what she's probably done to your insurance premiums.... :( Anyways, get some good photo's of the injuries so a) you can give them to your solicitor and b) you can use them in some twisted photo. If you can't, just pass them to Punky, I'm sure he'll fit them in to something..... (",)

Jordy - Dude...I see what Punk does to somewhat normal subject matter, I don't know if I could handle - psychologically - what he would do with photos of injuries. Yeeesh! :) -=>Donald

Aw, azy. I hope it's not that bad. Take care. (And slap that mad driver with a lawsuit for recklessness as well hehehe) (*

btw Azy, wot country you in again? (lousy memory, me!) And (most important!) any damage to the bike? (Wotcha got anyways..... don't say a Harley......lol) (",)

Thanks for the kind words Jordy, I live in the UK and ride a 10 year old CBR600. Damage as far as I can tell is to the fareing and thats at least a grand to replace and the forks are twisted. They will probley write it off and I will get a check for what it is worth plus lost wages, clothes (leathers are not cheap) and damage to myself.

Get the insurance money, buy it back, bin the fairing, buy new forks (sore subject with me at the mo....) and turn it into a street fighter.......lots of anodised bolt-ons.... lol (",)

how awful! glad you're getting compensated for the damage done though- get well soon!

Jordy sorry to hear about the forks, they are a pain in the arse. The last time I tried to put forks on a bike was on a fissy, but they leaked and veered to the left. Then I crashed it, with the fuel stop ripping my left leg apart. I will leave the CBR 600 where it is, I don't want to know about it, it never let me down in 10 years, time to move on I think (but old mags like AWOL and BSH have me thinking)

Back Street Heroes? Bloody Ell, ain't read that mag in YEARS!!! I'm a Performance Bikes nut mesel'. (BTW, did you hear that Ronnie Smith, their test rider, was killed last month? Knocked off his scooter on the way home. Sad day.) Anyways, I didn't have much choice re-doing the forks. The seal in one was gone (doing burnouts in my garage doorway after it had been standing for some time CAN'T have helped :) ) and I took a bit of a rough & ready approach to getting one of the legs seperated - resulting in damage to the chrome. Either got to re-chrome it or get a pair that'll fit. Check out www.jordyart.com/bike - you'll see what I've been doing, though I've come to a standstill at the moment due to fund deficiency.... I seriously would turn it into a street bike - it'll suit it, and the insurance company will let you have it for peanuts. Who needs fairings anyways? (",)
