Subject: A small challenge with a few prizes. (Retro/Fantasy/Goth)

Hi guys. This started out as a challenge image from Hometown3D, Gary T's site, and I figured you guys might get a little kick out of it as well. Here's the deal. Come up with an image that includes these three aspects. Retro, Gothic, and Fantasy. All three -must- be included. One image per person. No nudity. Postwork is allowed. Not a hard contest, easy rules, and a few great prizes. There will be three winners. 1st place will receive - Fantasy Archers by Gary T - Your choice of anything from Cimerone's store. - Makiara by Crasher. 2nd place will receive - Your choice of anything from Cimerone's store. - Makiara by Crasher. 3rd place will receive - Makiara by Crasher Most of all, you must have fun with this. Any questions may be posted to this thread. Please link to your challenge images here, so that the judges will be able to find them. :) Thanks a bunch. ~C

Here's an example image that I did. Also, this will last a week. We'll say from now, until next Friday night, I believe it's February 7th and Midnight, central time.

What is "Retro"? I'm familiar with Goth & Fantasy, of course, but "Retro" I just don't know...

Retro is sort of hippyish, from the 60's. :)

You better define retro upfront. I'm a little older than most and I was assuming 30's and 40's-- Heck, with Chicago being a hit, could even be 1920's. Emily

LOL! Yup, it may be different things to different people. But for -this- one, it's somewhere in the 60's. :D

Retro/Fantasy/Goth? :snicker: I certainly don't think of the 60's as "retro" but here goes... Undead Elf wearing paisley and love beads? Vampiric Sorceress with tie-dyed victim? Unicorn with tribal tattoos and daisies around his neck? Bat-winged hobbit in a daishiki? Excuse me, I feel like having a nice cup of tea with a black dragon while recovering from this extraordinary frenzy... but it does sound like fun. Carolly

Well, this image, Stalled, was going to be my contest entry, until I realized that oops... no nudity allowed! That's fine though. The contest idea was inspiring and I like the image I came up with. It's been oddly controversial. So I thought I'd share it here, since it is a Goth/Fantasy/Retro image, even though it's not actually eligible for the contest. Comments are welcome. :-) fiction2002

Alrighty. Man, we didn't think this was going to be as hard as it is. All of these images are awesome and -so- very creative. :) We had several close calls on this one, and I'd like to say thank you to all who participated, and that I -will- be doing more of these.
