Ok so I have a figure Ive' created in a 3d ap. The question is how do I rig it for use in Poser (4) are there any easy and I mean easy to follow tutorials, oh sure there are you must have answered this question a million times, but please humor me.... Thanx.

Do you have Poser 4 or Pro Pack? Pro Pack has the Setup Room to rig characters. Poser 4 does not. You'll have to edit a .cr2 file by hand to otherwise.

There is also a way to do it using just P4, UV Mapper, and PhiBuilder. I don't have links to the tutorials right this second, but will look them up when I get home from work. The only one that comes to mind is on the page for anim8or. Sorry... already late or I'd look it up for ya.

found it! try this for the tutorial Anim8or.com = free modeler www.uvmapper.com = free UVMapper (buy the Pro version, it's worth it) www.royriggs.com/poser.html = Phi Builder

I knew there was at least one way to do it without Pro Pack, but since I haven't done it, I didn't want to give ignorant information. :) I believe there is a way to do it "manually" by adding the model as a prop (or something), editing the .pp2 file to add all of the rigging information, then renaming it to .cr2 and moving it into the Character folder. But that is just from memory. This is definitely the hard way to do it. BYS
