Okay... when you add your conforming clothing, you need to make sure not to double click on it. This replaces your existing figure with the new one, in this case, your clothing. At the bottom of your libraries pallet, you should see a double check mark (second icon) this adds the new figure to the current scene without replacing the PF Hi Res Nude. I hope this helps. ~ brent ~
Brent, Thank you so much!! That answered my question. I had doubleclicked and messed around with those checkmarks but didn't understand their purpose. Reading your response got me to understand what I was doing. I can now get the results I was looking for and the wording in the manual makes more sense. once again Thanks

I'm new to Poser. I have been following the tutorial in Poser 5's reference manual but am not having success. What I'm doing is selecting a "Poser 4 Hi Res Nude". I'm then trying to add conforming clothing to this P4 woman. I'm chosing the clothing that is for the P4 woman. After chosing the clothing, the P4 woman disapears and the clothing only is now listed as "figure 1". I have no woman to chose to make the clothing conform to it. If hope I have provided enough information and I'm sure this is something obvious but would appreciate your help. thanks
