Center hasnt grown much... is it cause members havnt uploaded tutorials? or are we collecting liek 100 tutorails and other stuff and Updatign it all at once? id Really love to see this area bloom. thanx

As would I, it's more a problem with blocking the time to do the overhaul. I'm looking to have another "banner" contest to coincide with the launch.

OPEN TO ALL:
Does anyone have specific information they'd like to see?
Is anyone interested in creating "brushes"?
Is anyone interested in creating "styles"?
Is anyone interested in creating "actions"?
We have a new improved "tutorial section" on the site that includes Photoshop, but how do you(s) feel about mini-tut's within the Resource Center?

PS I'd love to see this "forum" bloom!
:)

Here's what I'd like to see. A way to create brush and palette knife effects in order to duplicate Bob Ross' style in making clouds and mountains. I'm quite serious, not a joke. It's been frustrating me for a long time. Also would be nice to be able to recreate his brush effects for making trees. I have no doubt it could be done, I just don't know how to do it.

Talent is God's gift to you. Using it is your gift to God.

How about a hints & tips section. Just quick 1 or 2 para helpful bit that most people go "Ooooh! I didnt know you could do that." For instance: How to straighten scans. Use the ruler tool and lay it down a straight surface of the scanned, wonky image. Use Image/Transform/Rotate/Arbitrary and the degree difference from the horizontal/vertical will be already there. Just hit "rotate" and your'e done.

Sound like a great idea. I have a great deal of them floating around in my head. I guess it's time to put them in code and re-do the Resource Center before eveyone loses interest in this forum ;) :) retrocity
