Just sent the whole kit and kaboodle to my two beta testers.... probably should get a few more at some point... Anyway, here's a peek at what the Chibi girl has become. Meet Koshini! Fraid the clothing textures are a bit on the slim side, but her two hair models have about 20ish textures that you can use on both of them. Whatcha think? Hopefully I'll have any bugs that turn up fixed in another week or so. Lots of learning on this model, my first project of this size. Thoughts, comments? Littlefox

I like it littlefox, good job. I'm assuming this is an original model? How bendy is she? Evo

dialyn ( ) posted Wed, 12 February 2003 at 8:44 PM

I'm not strong on elfin folk, but she's darling. Good job!

Little_Dragon ( ) posted Wed, 12 February 2003 at 8:49 PM

That would make a great ElfQuest character. She even has the right number of fingers.

Asciicodeplus ( ) posted Wed, 12 February 2003 at 8:51 PM

Wooow! Excelent work...

Chuckles on the ElfQuest. A Full Body Morph I'm working on for an additional pack is elfquest based ;) Called Pini-esque ;P Three different sets of elf ears with her as is, two anime one more elfquest like, and the ears are joints unto themselves, though they don't pose incredibly well you can at least get some expressiveness with them. As to bendiblity, she's got the same basic setup joint wise as Vicky 3 and can use some of her poses, though have to make allowances for the head being huge in comparison and tweak here and there..... here's a quick three poses, the one on the right is straight Vicky3 pose, no touch up, one on the left is a vicky3 pose with about a min and a half of touch up, untwisting some joints and moving her hands so they aren't inside her head. Koshini can be a temperamental little sprite though, she doesn't like having her limbs folded too far or twisted all that much but she gives it her best try ;) Littlefox

blushes Glad you like her, Hope to be selling her via Daz once I get her finished so that they can handle tech support and such. I'm lousy at keeping up with emails and a toddler at the same time ;P and they've been really nice to me as a customer. Looking at the $15-$20 range for the model with one of the hair styles included, then the same price range for the clothing pack which has everything in the above, 3 styles of hip hugger bell bottoms, two styles of shirts, a pair of shoes, a racer jacket and a long curly hair. The pants have lots of basic jeans in different color texturing but the entire set is made so that you can pick and fill for coloring the jacket and piping and such rather than having to bother with texture mapping if you want. The jersey's really lend themselves well to it. Littlefox

Any chance of adding a miniskirt to her??? I think she's really cute and very expressive. Emily

littlefox ( ) posted Thu, 13 February 2003 at 1:02 PM

Chuckles, actually I've got a pleated mini skirt in the works as well as a long slim fit skirt (which is trying to kill me I think in the conforming stages) but they're no where near completed as yet. Littlefox

dragongirl ( ) posted Thu, 13 February 2003 at 1:43 PM

I've been watching as you developed her too - wonderful, wonderful work. I just love this figure. She turned out fantastic!! :-) -dg

AHHHHHHHHHH! I love it! I love it! I love it! Can I get a look at her texture template pretty please? huge grin

littlefox ( ) posted Fri, 14 February 2003 at 10:42 AM

file_45773.jpg

You betcha, Let's hope this isn't too big... Here's the template sized down a bit. There are two different mappings for the eyes, one for a cylindrical for a realistic eye and one for a planar anime eye. Have those separate mostly for ease of change out. Littlefox

nikitacreed ( ) posted Fri, 14 February 2003 at 10:45 AM

Many thanks Littlefox! She looks great!
