Jummy, as most poserworld stuff, but when you live in Belgium tough luck, because the country is not on the shop list, so you can't order. And I bet when you get to payment options it will have to be with Pay Pall which is a bitch, or the credit card I have won't be listed. That's one of the main reasons Rosity and DNA are prolly outselling everyone else two to one: they are "real" for everybody out there. Anyway, very very nice cheerleaders outfits ... sigh

There are three pairs of shoes downloaded as a set from PoserWorld but the darn shoes come in as a pair so I can't pose them individually on the feet, and the darn things don't conform (properly) for me. I can't pose them as a pair in all positions. What's the trick for using them? I also cannot get the Rubenesque dress to cover Vicky 3's sttributes properly even at the settings that you give. The lower have of her breasts show. I'd make them invisible but that makes part of her arm disappear too and that doesn't work for this dress. Could you give any advice? I know it is just me. I don't understand these things very well. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

dialyn ( ) posted Sun, 16 February 2003 at 6:55 PM

That should be "lower half" not "lower have." Edit, edit, edit.

steveshanks ( ) posted Mon, 17 February 2003 at 4:24 AM

Did you apply the morphs for the shoes?, you need to apply them to the feet and toes of Vicky, (actually you can just hide the toes if you prefer) once they are applied set them to 1 then she should be standing in the shoes with no need to bend the feet for heels ;o)....not sure on the dress, can you add V3 then inject the rubenesque morph and turn to 1 then add and conform the dress then post a render might be able to tell from that...Steve

Hmmm...I seem to be doing something wrong. When I do "conform", Vicky stands on the shoes instead of in them. Hiding the toes doesn't work at that point. Vicky 3 and I went round and round yesterday until she finally crashed my computer with the final injection. Sigh. Thanks for the advice. I'll try again when Vicky 3 starts talking to me again (or visa versa).

I know I'm missing something simple. I bring the shoes in. I try to conform them and they just sit below her foot (and once I conform, I can't move them from that position). I can't seem to parent the right shoe to the right foot and the left shoe to the left foot so that I can move the feet independently. I know this is something simple. I just can't seem to figure it out. What am I missing??? Cinderella would have been a spinster like me if she made it as hard as Vicky 3 does to get a shoe on her foot. :(

dialyn ( ) posted Mon, 17 February 2003 at 6:12 PM

P.S. this is without morphs on any of the figures.

steveshanks ( ) posted Tue, 18 February 2003 at 3:26 AM

Yep that looks how it should, now add the morphs to Vickys feet and toes, if you installed the shoes at the zips default paths you should find them here C:Poser 4RuntimePW morphs labeled like this v3leftfootmorph1pw.OBJ.obj add those and turn the dials to 1 then the feet fit in the shoes, you shouldn't need to parent or move them ;o)....BTW you can't move a conformed item, once its conformed its stuck.....Steve

dialyn ( ) posted Tue, 18 February 2003 at 7:10 AM

Okay, now I got it. I think. Add Vicky 3. Add shoes. Add morph target to toes and foot of Vicky 3. Conform shoes. Shoes fit. And you can move her dancing feet. Sorry for the dimwitted questions. Thank you for being so patient. I clearly hadn't a clue. Yes, it is in the readme file. The problem is I didn't really understand what Steve was trying to tell me even though he clearly laid it out. Sometimes I'm stupid that way.

steveshanks ( ) posted Tue, 18 February 2003 at 7:18 AM

No worries Dialyn ;o) to be honest there are so many things out there that you have to do this that and the other too to get them to work it can be a nightmare remembering what to do with what LOL....BTW if you add the morphs, turn the dials then save Vicky in the library and run Dialcleaner on the cr2 it'll save you adding the morphs later....Steve
