Subject: Newbie having trouble with knees buckling in Walk Designer

Jalad ( ) posted Mon, 13 January 2003 at 7:04 PM · edited Sun, 24 November 2024 at 12:58 AM

I could have sworn that I had done the Walk Designer thing successfully once before, but now when I try it, the figure walks "funny" (knees buckling and twisting in weird directions, odd body posture) along the walk path. I have tried turning Inverse Kinematics on and off, but that doesn't help. I'm sure I'm missing some very simple step, but I can't figure out what it is. Any help would be much appreciated.

A lot of us seem to have the same problem! To some extent this appears to be a Poser 5 problem, but it has been PARTLY fixed by the updated figures. I assume that you have downloaded and installed all of the updates, there are a bunch of fixes in them! You didn't mention if you are using P4. PP or P5 and which model. All of those make a lot of difference. Mike
