Hi, I just bought Daz3d's MoonGoddess Hair. Is there anyway to cut off those shimmering lights that are a part of the hair? Thanks, Eric

I don't have the product yet myself, but the particles probably have their own materials, which you could set to transparent.

Yep, they are separate. BTW, they aren't actually lights but are more of a big, multifaceted piece of confetti. They are listed as Magic Dust 1,2, and 3 in the materials room/render materials. Just make all the colors true black (RGB 0,0,0) and set all the transparencies to the maximum settings. They should go away.

what pigfish said (interesting name there) and take off the transmaps as well.

Hey Everyone,
Thanks for the replies. I did all the above, but there is just one more step needed...you have to change the transparecy maps to "none", also. Without removing the transmap, the light will still show. Thanks again. I'm
glad I got that out of the way.

I actually got a cool neat effect using the stormgoddess hair in cartoon with line mode ... check out my image 'anime magick' in my gallery.
