Is the frontal hairline on the Morphing Blunt Cut abrupt, or is there a natural gradation like you find on the Wedge cut? (see "transition zone" in picture).

I have been real tempted to buy this, but every time I see it in a picture it appears to just abruptly sprout out of the head.

If someone has a close up view they can post, it would be appreciated. None of the pictures on the DAZ store are detailed enough to be sure.

Hmm, hairline on the BluntCut ends QUITE abruptly. However, I still would recommend it, its a lovely hairpiece.

It has a lot of potential.

Yes, I was real impressed with the review on critical-depth.com.

Such a pity about that hairline, otherwise it seems like a great product. Maybe if I were to try fiddling with the transparency map up there I might get something more realistic.

Good hair is so hard to find. Thanks for posting those pictures.

There's not a widow's peak morph on this one either. I got a little bit of variation at the hairline using the bangs, thickness and friz morphs. Of course, there is some fuzziness there, too.

I use Mysticwinter's textures with the Blunt Cut.

I find it very difficult to make this hair look decent - it always looks as though the hair is coming up out of a hole in her head, instead of being rooted on her scalp. Okay, post can fix that, but still.... the modeling job on it is somehow not quite right in my view. :] Fish
