Nice. You into the blues? Those old tweeds sound great overdriven on my favorite blues licks. Like you, I can't afford 'em either. Collectors have ruined the market on vintage equipment. Until the '80's you could pick up great old guitars and amps for a song (unintentional pun... but I'll let it stand :^) ). Now you have to create a pic with a guitarist to go with this great amp object. Tjohn
This is not my "second childhood". I'm not finished with the first one yet.

Heck, I had a Peavy Deuce for about 25 years, but finally sold it to pay some bills. They actually still make amps like this, but not sure about the prices. There's a place called 'American Friends', that sells this stuff, I think their web site's called the same thing. Give it a shot. Of course, I held onto the Peavy Centurion and a Fender 50 cabinet for the bass..;)

.......are the classic tweeds from the late fifties and early sixties. Unfortunately they are way out of my price range, but I keep hoping one will turn up when I am dumpster diving. So instead of just wishing for one I decided to model my own. Based on no particular real life amp this is just a generic representation.
