Hi, There's a V3 hires text in freestuff (by Brycemaster) that takes you to a page offsite, you click the download link there and get taken to a lotto page (in German) This is the site: http://www.tryton-3d.de/Tryton/ This is the redirect: http://partners.webmasterplan.com/click.asp?ref=65141&site=297&type=text&tnb=3 and the link above is where it takes you. I followed that one for 3 clicks, didn't find the texture, just sales stuff. Don't know the author and it began to smell bad so just bailed out.

That's strange. I click on download, get the redirect page in german in the upper right there is a "download" and a menu with "Poser" on it. I click on "Poser" and I get a 404 error. no lotto, nada. no harm on this end.

Might be a site hijack, dunno. Seen brycemaster on the bryce forum once in a while. Kind of a new nic around here though.

I got it ok yesterday, but it downloaded as an ACE file. (I guess winace.) I couldn't open it so I dumped it. I just think the bandwidth got to him.

There's a new Brycemaster link - for a temple - in Freestuff, with the same site; this URL is OK. The first link may simply have been a mistake.

the temple link only works for the temple, but there's no working link for the V3 texture....:>)

Sometimes if you put something up in good faith using a FreeHost and they detect offsite downloads, even just of the thumbnail image they redirect to trash like that without even notifying the site author. Happened to me. That is why I gave up contributing to FreeStuff. I can't Find a single decent FreeHost that permits any resenable bandwidth anymore. All the FreeISPs are gone too. The Freeweb is gone... I used to dial up for free through the local University or libray back when in-line images were just making a splash... can you believe that? The public libray just gave free modem access to anyone who could figure out how to set up PPP.
