Hello everybody, I have this question, I've tried my hand at making photoreal textures for posermodels and i love it, the only thing is i wonder where to get photos from that are not copyrighted or is the only way to get photos taking them yourself? I'm really not sure if i can get someone to pose for me naked. LOL How do you do that? I've tried a netsearch on copyright free photos but i can't find any. Elfquest

search "royalty free" on the net, and you should find a bunch. Places like gettyimages.com and whatnot. Problem is they're usually quite watermarked. Free stuff is hard to come by dude.

Make your own!!! Have you considered glossy magazines. You may have to apply a blur or soften filter but that might give you a great start. Bsteph

"I'm really not sure if i can get someone to pose for me naked. LOL" Hi Elfie. Does this translate as "I can't" or "I haven't asked" ? If it's "I can't" - well, short of hiring a studio and advertising for a model you're pretty much snookered. If it's "I haven't asked"........ I think one of the problems people face when they haven't took nude pics before is automatically assuming they're going to get someone into a studio / converted dining room / whatever, get them to take their kit off and start taking photos..... if there's someone you can ask, flatter them - tell them what it's for, that you think they'd be really good for it, and gently persuade/get them drunk them to take some head shots. Then work on getting your face / head right. After the couple of weeks it took you for that, show them. Let them see something good has come out of it. (Show it in the poser gallery/forum, let them see the cool comments). Then ask them if they'd do the same again, but for their hands. Repeat the procedure. Then really push the boat out.... show them what a poser texture looks like, and ask them to do a bikini shoot "coz the texture is coming along so well......." You'll be able to tell from how comfortable they are whether or not you can push for topless/naked shots, but if not don't push the issue. Purloin nipples/crotch area off the net and blend in. Dunno if you'd be able to find that sort of thing on the net though......?? Hope this helps (not just for textures but anyone wanting to do it) MIke (",)
