Oh, and I should mention, the Bustier is WIP too B^)

MachineClaw ( ) posted Wed, 19 February 2003 at 10:20 AM

V2 or V3? or Steph? all? Looks super. Love the flame job and the cyber crome. great stuff.

_dodger ( ) posted Wed, 19 February 2003 at 10:21 AM

Before it's done, there will be unzip MTs, a zip smart prop, and a small assortment of buckles and belts smart props so you can adjust the look sa you please. BTW, the reflection map shown isn't the one that will be used when finished. That's just a working REFL. More than one will be provided with REFL MAT poses.

_dodger ( ) posted Wed, 19 February 2003 at 10:31 AM

Oh, by the way -- this conforms amazingly. I tested it and tested it for breakage -- any bit of Vicki showing through -- and I finally got it to break. Do you know the DAZ Dynamic Michael pose with him standing on one finger? That one. A completely ridiculous Mike pose (not even made for Vicki, the intended wearer) with limits off was what it took. All of my Vicki poses worked fine. I kid you not. Now, you might think, 'what the hell is Dodger doing something like this for? This isn't sci-fi or fantasy! This is totally not his thing!' I'm paying attention to the marketplace is what I'm doing. B^)

_dodger ( ) posted Wed, 19 February 2003 at 10:32 AM

MC: V2 right now, though I'll be able to make versions for other figures easily enough after. Steph, Eve, and Posette anyway -- I don't have V3. THough if people really, really want to see me develop for V3, you can always buy me a copy B^)

_dodger ( ) posted Wed, 19 February 2003 at 10:36 AM

L Sorry I almost missed the question, MC. I didn't expect such a fasy reply :^)

MachineClaw ( ) posted Wed, 19 February 2003 at 10:45 AM

Oh I dunno, it's fantasy n sci-fi enough for me. I don't know many of my female friends that would wear that to work, or for their boyfriends...hahahahaha! err, well, maybe one or two, scary kinda. I wish I had your talent for modeling, my brain has such a hard time with the concepts. I'll definately keep an eye out for this package when it comes up.

jaybutton ( ) posted Wed, 19 February 2003 at 12:06 PM

Very cool, good for a super hero. I mean a super hero-ette, uh super heroine? :) Jay

a_super_hero ( ) posted Wed, 19 February 2003 at 2:17 PM

I am definatly intersted. I might buy it if it was V2, but if it was V3 I definatly would buy it.

Jackson ( ) posted Wed, 19 February 2003 at 4:58 PM

Same here. I won't buy vicky stuff I can't get to work with V3.

_dodger ( ) posted Wed, 19 February 2003 at 5:57 PM

Well, as I said -- I don't have Vicki 3 -- but if people would like me to develop for her, you can all get together and buy me a copy. She's a bit spendy for me at the moment, what with the move at the end of March and all.

Jaybutton said: Very cool, good for a super hero immediately afterwards, a super hero said: I am definatly intersted Wow, Jaybutton, you were so right! B^)

Looks good! A suggestion: make it possible to switch off different parts - for instance the neck section, and or arms. Also the edges over the hips so one can make it even more high cut. And buttocks (if it has any lol) Sure, this can be doen with trans, but it's a lot neater if one doesn't have to use them. Price? :] Fish

_dodger ( ) posted Thu, 20 February 2003 at 4:07 AM

FN: Thanks, but nope. The body parts are really tightly fitted so it conforms to Vicki perfectly, and I'm not doin any switching out parts as a result. Besides, you've been watching the way I'm pricing things, right? I'll be continuing with the trend, and that doesn't allow for the extra time to spend on altGeoms. But no arms proper and no bum on this anyway (there are buttocks parts but they are slim slivers on the sides there). As to designs without the top and such, well, that's part of the idea. It's marketing. Those products will also be Dodger's Really Cheap Stuff items. And the more super-fit parts I get done, the easier and faster I can make other things by deriving them from my base super-fit mesh (which so far consists of what you see there). B^)

to break this bustier. Through exhaustive testing, Vicki managed to pull off some acrobatics that showed some small breakage of the mesh -- which is easily fixed with several of the morph dials.

_dodger ( ) posted Thu, 20 February 2003 at 10:30 AM

I should say 'with any one of seveal of the morph dials' -- didn't mean you needed to twiddle five of them or something B*)

And eleven REFL MATs! (Demonstrated on the CyberChrome MAT for strongest visibility)

GraphicFoxx ( ) posted Thu, 20 February 2003 at 11:05 AM

Damn those look good. Nice pricing on your recent items by the way. I was really surprised that JICC was only 5 bucks. Really nice model with that, too.

_dodger ( ) posted Thu, 20 February 2003 at 11:13 AM

You know, I think I'm not going to sell this after all. I'm going to let my wife sell it B^)

_dodger ( ) posted Thu, 20 February 2003 at 11:16 AM

Everything is gonna stay low, don't worry!

MachineClaw ( ) posted Thu, 20 February 2003 at 12:27 PM

Just leave a pointer where the CC has to be inserted :P

Patricia ( ) posted Thu, 20 February 2003 at 4:13 PM

Those metallic ones make my mouth water--finish up quick ;)

FishNose ( ) posted Thu, 20 February 2003 at 5:07 PM

That last image is yummy! :] Fish

_dodger ( ) posted Fri, 21 February 2003 at 4:17 AM

OKAY, It looks like it will be longer ebfore this is out. I justy got picker and I'm going to rebuild the textures with a new and better UVWmap as the basis. Why? Cause DAZ wants me to sell 'em there. So they won't be the $5 probably, but I will push for a low price. DAZ doesn't normally put brokered products in the Platinum Club AFAIK, which makes sense as brokers don't receive a portion of the PC fees but I'm gonna talk to them about perhaps a different cut to offer this there maybe. I do mean to make 5 copies -- this one's V1/2, but I would like to make Posette, Eve, Steph, and V3 copies. Yes, i went ahead and bought her L

MachineClaw ( ) posted Fri, 21 February 2003 at 2:08 PM

Congrads on the Daz. It's going to be a great product when it comes out, your doing a fab job on it already, I'm sure that it will just be that much more when it finally comes out. Crongrads.

_dodger ( ) posted Fri, 21 February 2003 at 4:35 PM

Actually, I've been thinking -- I think I want to make versions for Posette, Eve, Vicki 2, Vicki 3, Stephanie annnd... (You'll love this...) ... Mike B^) After all, everybody's always saying Mike doesn't have enough clothes. I don't think he has a single corset/bustier type thing B^)

MachineClaw ( ) posted Fri, 21 February 2003 at 6:53 PM

would that be the Riff Raff texture for mike? ala Rocky horror?

_dodger ( ) posted Sat, 22 February 2003 at 2:21 AM

Actually, it would work well for that. And you can get his gun on my site!
