Something just for fun. Contest ends February 28, 2003. If you have 250 words (or less) to spare and like mysteries, you might like to give this a try.

Oh, I guess you might like to know what the prizes are: One (1) Grand Prize/Approximate Retail Value (ARV): A future James Patterson novel character will be named after the contest winner and the winner's entry will be published in a future issue of TV Guide. In addition, the winner will receive an autographed copy of a James Patterson book and a one-year paid subscription to TV Guide (ARV: $500.00).

Sounds a bit tough. Well, tough for me. Especially in 250 words.

Besides, couldn't they just call in CSI and use their special lights to find blood on the hands of the killer? I mean, you don't generally stab someone in the throat (who also dies quickly) without making a bit of mess on yourself, do you? Or fingerprints on the handle of the knife?

Knowing reality shows (well, not really), I'm sure someone could breathe life into a scenario where the producer paid someone to do it for the ratings...but in 250 words? Heck, if I sit here on this message much longer, I'll have have that total just making a few comments !

Now, the really good trick would be to find a way make Cindy an accomplice. After all, she left pret-t-t-t-ty quickly.
