As we all know, Leo is the '2D' god of Bryce.

The temple model architecture is roughly based on the statue room of the cella at the Temple of Athena Parthenos in Athens, Greece.

As to the update. I did an antialiased render and added a couple of things. All objects are made from Byrce primatives by me, and the textures(including Leo) are from Bryce 5 in one form or the other. Although I could continue working on refining the lights and adding objects, this is about it for the February challenge for me unless I get a really neat idea in the next day or so.

I learned alot about lighting and multireplication from this challenge, and also something about the Parthenon which I intend to continue building after the challenge is over . . . but I think I'll start over in Carrara - I should be able to build it at least to the point you see here in that application.

cheers,

  • TJ

The lighting at the top of the pillars looks pretty good now. Great improvement over the earlier WIP. Look forward to seeing the continuing construction of the parthenon.

Love the improvements. The primative symbols is a nice touch as well.
