THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: Conversion between Bryce and 3dsmax or Poser (*.3ds, *.obj)?

Is there a way to use Bryce files in Poser or Max? Or a conversion tool to convert Bryce files into *.3ds or *.obj files?

you can export terrains, lattices, rocks and previously imported objects by selecting them, clicking the little E button and pressing ctrl-D. Primitives can't be exported.

the 3ds export for terrains is well excuted, creating good textures etc, BUT it's slow slow slow, (I think it basically renders the scene to produce the exported textures)

Toolset: Blender, GIMP, Indigo Render, LuxRender, TopMod, Knotplot, Ivy Gen, Plant Studio.

.br4, .br5 files cannot be used or imported into any other program. There is also no conversion utility to make any Bryce native file into anything else.(br4,br5,obp, etc) You will have to stick to the suggestions above, exporting out of Bryce your terrains, lattices, rocks and previously imported objects.
