Hey I am playing with poser 5 ( got it 2 days ago) and I am trying to get Don to kick a ball, but the ball crumples when it gets kicked, I have all the parameteres set to the highest fold density and so forth but still it crumples. I am used to 3dsMax Dynamics, where you can make one a ridged body...can you do the same in poser 5? So when I kick it it doesn't fold all up?

I don't think Poser really has a physics engine, just the cloth dynamics. You might be able to acheive your effect by looking into Ockham's Foster-Parent Python script in freestuff.

Well I can get him kicking teh ball and it will fly away in an arc and land again, but the problem is the crumple, I would like to get rid of that. If I roll a ball into another ball slowly it will push it with very ittle distortion in teh mesh but noting like if it was a hard ball. I was playing with the ridged parameters a while ago but that makes it just pass through. Cloth is a nice addition, but it is only that as far as I can tell.
