Great job there girl! If you would like I can make the tut into a pdf file. IM me if you like me to do it. Hugz Joan

Seriously, Is there any way to get the tutorial for off line use? I hate the idea of having to wait for 17 pages to load to save every page to disk... pdf's are awful ...how about an E-Book?

Tamela.J. ( ) posted Fri, 21 February 2003 at 5:45 PM

Well, you could just go thru each page & save the picture & copy the text to notepad then save it. Just a thought... Hugz Tamela

Awesome and clear tutorial. Thanks soooooo much.

PoisenedLily ( ) posted Fri, 21 February 2003 at 10:49 PM

Im pleased you all like it. I will look into making it a d/l-able tut as well...umm tomorrow. lol Im too tired to think clearly at the moment. :) There will also be 2 more coming, painting hair and general effects in postwork. Cheers, Gina

I just went there and did the reg thing...why does it ask for your real name city state and date of birth? I find that a bit intrusive actually :) But I filled in the blanks anyway...can't wait to see your tutorial, I'm sure it's great Cimerone :) Pendy

PoisenedLily ( ) posted Fri, 21 February 2003 at 11:19 PM

Honestly Im not sure on that. But Im willing to check into it if you would like! :)

synergyauto ( ) posted Sat, 22 February 2003 at 12:15 AM

@Pendarian - Sorry for the intrusiveness of the registration section. It merely asks for those things due to the fact that later on the site will have a marketplace, so if a member buys a product, we'll know whether we have to assess state taxes, etc. Of course, the site is still under construction so many things may change in the future :) I do want to say thanks so much for signing up though! @Dizzie - I'm looking into getting the tutorial put on a pdf file and making it downloadable from the tut section. Would you want the 3 tutorials in 3 different pdf's or all 3 (once Gina finishes them) put on one big pdf? Thanks! -Syn

wgreenlee1 please see my post above that states you DO have to register. Its in poset # 3. Also please note that membership is requires, but its free and a one time gig. :) Thanks.

Dizzie ( ) posted Sat, 22 February 2003 at 12:02 PM

Thanks Syn......I don't like pdf files, so do what you think most would prefer...maybe in 3, so the file sizes are smaller? :>)

synergyauto ( ) posted Sat, 22 February 2003 at 2:13 PM

Dizzie, is there another preferable format? Or how about just an html page with the supporting pictures zipped up?

pendarian ( ) posted Sat, 22 February 2003 at 3:35 PM

An html page or pages with the supporting pictures would be good I think :)

Dizzie ( ) posted Sat, 22 February 2003 at 5:47 PM

I agree...especially if it's down to about 5 pages instead of 17.....then I can make an ebook myself with a couple of clicks, if I want one....:>)

Ok, the downloadable version is available now. Just click the link to get it. It's just part 1 of the 3 part series, but I will do the same for the next 2 parts, and also figure out an efficient way of doing this for all the tutorials. Thanks for the great idea! :) -Syn

Dizzie ( ) posted Sun, 23 February 2003 at 6:25 AM

Hey Syn...there's no text after fig 9 (Step 8 or page 10).....just images...is that correct?

synergyauto ( ) posted Sun, 23 February 2003 at 1:24 PM

Oops! I've uploaded the "Fixed" version, actually it's the same thing, but the last paragraph has been split into more readable steps. The original file had steps 9 though 16 lumped into one step with all the pics afterward. The new one is more readable. Sorry 'bout that! :) -Syn

Part II about hair is up now and there are some nice hints for doing postworked hair. Very nice with some gorgeous results.

synergyauto ( ) posted Wed, 05 March 2003 at 1:39 AM

I thought so too dialyn :) The downloadable version will be available tomorrow, as well, she has some links that need to be added to the last page that didn't make it into the tut in the process. I hear her last one is coming very soon too ;) -Syn

I'm looking forward to it. Can never have too many tutorials from skilled artists. :)
