Gebe 1997, 1999, 2001, is Vue d'Esprit5 do out in 2003? I'm interested in buying, but I'd rather wait if the new version in coming out soon, That way I don't have to relearn the program or worry about current patches or upgrades from 4 to 5. It looks like a great program.

I have no idea when Vue 5 will come out. Vue 4 is less then 1 and 1/2 year old. Anyhow, when something will be known from e-onsoftware, it will be announced here. It's a great program, people who learned Vue 2 can also manage Vue3 and 4, they only had to learn the new features:-). Guitta

Guitta Vue d'Esprit 2 was released in 1997, Vue d'Esprit 3 in 1999 and Vue d'Esprit 4 in 2001. I just guessed 2003 because of how Vue 2, 3, 4 was released (about every 1-1/2 to 2 years). Plus the fact that the up-grade from 3 to 4 is $129.00. I'd rather not pay over an additional hundred dollars more to get the Vue 5, if it is coming out soon.

Yes Phil:-) I know. I'm sure the people at e-onsoftware don't sleep. But as I told you, no Vue 5 in view for the moment. Guitta

Here is whart Lynn Fredricks answered to the question if there will be a Vue 5 (related from our Vue Yahoo group) "Of course there will! We are trying to change the perception that Bryce is the only option. We offer a cross-grade from Bryce, which has turned out to be very popular. Don't be put off by the fact we arent tossing early alphas out for public consumption - we don't usually put out upgrades on an annual basis. Best regards, Lynn Fredricks e-on software"
