Subject: For the half-dozen people still hanging around...

Some of you who know me, know for the last year or so, i've been deeply involved in house renovations. What started as a simple desire for an art studio (where i could leave painting out and they wouldn't get molested), blossomed into something quite bit larger.

I live in a house of estrogen (the only other male is a cat, and he sides with whomever feeds him), and anyone in the same circumstance knows NOTHING ever goes as planned without some modifications. My little art studio project grow into building a 2 story house in front of my existing house and cutting a "hole" between and joining them. I am still tearing down walls and making openings where there weren't any and closing up where there were.

During this time, i've also been the moderator for this forum, and i've been working on redoing the whole Resource Center. Anyone who does designing knows, the longer you take to complete a design the more often you'll change it.

Needless to say, i've decided to "duct-tape" patch the "backroom" a get some useful stuff in there and worry about the redo later. I have enlisted some help and hope to unveil something soon but until then, i'll get something new going.

Speaking of new, I think it's time to change the banner again... (Rustbucket has enjoyed quite a reign)

guidelines for banner entries to follow...

Thanks for hanging out so far...
:)

Hey you think you have it bad... I live in a Testosterone House. Actually it's an earth-sheltered hobbit house, just filled with males. Hubby, 2 Hugs male dogs, a male cat, even the fish are male! Thank goodness for the one dog who is female or there would be no hope :) I understand totally what you are going retrocity, and if you need any help with the backroom, just yell :) We can have a Habitat for Retrocity Day in the Photoshop Forum ;] ladynimue

Although I am female Retrosity, I feel for you.... I have a 12 year old daughter who thinks she's 20, and acts like 2...LOL! Boys (of all species I think) are so much easier to deal with.... ;)
