http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?Form.ShowMessage=983746 Well, the camera depends of the program but in this case you can add a nul and parten the camera to it or make the cammera follow the null, and you can have as amny a s you want... The same happends to the lights, plus there are much more options to chose from(volumetrics raytracing, gel,etc...).And the renders will be of a higher quality(depending on the performance of the machine it tis runing) Ascii
Have you tried to use the cartoon shader in poser and export to a swf? This is what I do and it works out nicely for that tooned look.

I've been using the cartoon shader in Poser too...with a little bit of tweaking, you can usually pull off a nice multi-layered effect. (IE: Render a backdrop in Cinema or whatever you use with the toon shader, then your character in Poser, any foreground elements in Cinema, and then layer them all together in Photoshop or After Effects/Final Cut.) I like doing it this way because I can draw in light effects with Photoshop and get a cel on top of backdrop look. It's the long way around, but so far seems to work.
yeah... swf looks cool... the only problem with that is that it takes forever to render a high quality image in swf. By high quality i mean an image that actually looks like whats on the screen in poser instead of that somewhat sloppy vectorized look. Also shadows still move when you render to swf. So for cartoon animation it's not really that great.

Hey all. I was wondering what if any program can render poser files to cartoon better that poser4. I tried cinema 4d with the poser import plugin, but there are so many bugs with the importing that it's not worth the time it takes to redo things. Is there any other program out there that can import complete poser files (poses, animations, keyframes, camera movements the whole kit and kaboodle)and render the whole scene to cel shaded cartoon. Poser's native cartoon renderer is ok except for the moving shadows and the lack of transparencies on transparent objects, but i'm just wondering if there is anything better out there to use with it. Maybe a python script perhaps? Any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks.
