There is a tutorial for making a texture out of photos for your face at Cake One here's the link...If it doesn't work go to the side bar it should be the top link on the Web Rings Top 15

Just FYI, it'll take a little more than just a photo on the texture map. If you want to make a character that looks like you or someone specific, you also need to tweak the morphs to get the facial structure of the person you're creating. It can be hard work, but it can be done. Melanie

Hey, there is a mass of links up, down, and to the sides. You won't believe the things I never see. So don't sweat it. Just let us know if you find what you need.

By the "wireframe mesh" do you mean the model or the texture template to paint on? A lot of newbies mistakenly call the template a "wireframe mesh." The mesh is the actual unrendered 3D model. I think perhaps what you're looking for is the texture map template. For the template, it depends on which character you're using. If it's the standard Poser figures that come with the program, you should be able to find the templates on the content disk. For Vicki and Michael, you can download the templates for free on the product pages at DAZ. The character meshes for Vicki and Mike themselves are purchase items at DAZ. Melanie

Go to the product page for Mike or Vicky and look near the bottom, you should find a link for the templates

You usually want to look down toward the very bottom for the texture templates. For example, here is a screenshot of the bottom of the Michael 2.0 product page, at DAZ. Notice the red arrow. There are also seam guides which provide a better idea where things might line up. I think those can be found here in Free Stuff.

My utility MAKEOBJ (in the freestuff) can make texture map templates.
