Subject: Does Vue offer Network Rendering/?

I've been purchasing Socket 370 computers from E-Bay in hopes of starting my own Render Farm. I'd like to have 7 of these before long. I've seen render farms asking $1.hr for services. My own animation work with bryce requires hours of CPU time, so I thought I'd save myself a few weekends worth of farm fees, by just starting my own! Now that I have it I would'nt mind doing a little work as just a technitian though. I'd like experince rendering out other peoples files, this could be educational and profitable. My only catch is that I'm only really interested in Poser, Bryce, Vue, and Carrara. They all have UIs similar to the Metacreations theme. These applications are easy to aquire and learn. I'd like a lot of experience with these applications. A goal of mine to render a movie to rival hollywood someday. As an art student my bet that is would be best done from the family of applications I've outlined! Any tips on what applications I'd like to offer services for, will be appreciated! = )

Mover 4 is an animation software working with Vue 4. The difference between the already in Vue 4 included Mover features is that, with Mover 4 you can import entire Poser 4 animations and make them work together with Vue animations. Some other great controling features are also included. A sample is that Vue will automatically recognice your poser animation, even if you are not happy with it and you have changed something to it inside Poser. When you re-open it in Vue, the changings you have made in Poser will be recognized in Vue.

Rendercow is the feature in Mover 4 that allows to render animations over your network. This means that, if you have more then 1 computer, you install Mover 4 where Vue is installed and RenderCow also on all the other computers.
When you use RenderCow, Vue will automatically render the animation via all the connected machines. This means it is very fast, or anyhow very much faster as with only one machine.

It's just great.
Have a look at the link above to see some samples.

I hope this answers your questions.

And make =sure= you read about Phoul and the experience that he brought into his animations, so (A) you don't expect that level first off, and (b) can get some good hints as to what his tricks are. But the man is a marvel with some very affordable tools.... (I'm in the planning stages of a little renderfarm of my own; should be finished about the time I finally figure out just what I'm supposed to be doing in Mover)
