has anyone tried using Tailor with Stephanie? i get an error message when i try to open the Stephanie figure in Tailor. i'm trying to apply the Stephanie Muscular morph to a Vicki shirt. has this been covered before? i tried doing a search but gave up after seeing the pages and pages of links to people trying to use Tailor with Vicki3...

Hmm... Try this. Load Stephanie in Poser. Save as a different character and try to load that one.

I think you needed a patch or update for Tailor to use Stephanie.

i have tailor 1.1, which seems to be the latest version. unfortunately, daz doesn't seem to have any other fixes or such for it. hopefully tailor's functionality will be improved upon and built into the new daz studio application. daz put out a bunch of clothing which just begs for morphs to be added to... Netherworks, i'd never heard of that method. i'll give it a try. i'd post the error message i've been getting, but the error forces me to reboot my machine so i might try it when when i'm not in the middle of something.

Here's the error message that I get when I try to load Aiko or Stephanie in The Tailor 1.1. Neither is Codetwister's site. I am not forced to reboot, but it sure is a pain in the neck, and very frustrating. Yes, I have tried saving the characters back to the libraries and reloading. This has worked for me in the past with various other item, but for some reason not Aiko or Steph.

Hmm... part of my post was clipped and I have no idea what it was that I'd said. Oops.

gee, that's the message i get. i also have to reboot. it's almost comforting to know that i'm not alone in this...

Did you get the Stephanie update (Dated 3/11/2002)?! It seems to me that I had problems with Stephanie until I got the Stephanie update. I just loaded Stephanie into Tailor 1.1 with absolutely no problems.

Hmm. I think so but can't absolutely swear it. I'll try it and report. (toddles off to daz)

... DOH! It worked. I'd have sworn I'd done the upate but apparently I hadn't. Thanks, Peter! closes virtual help desk ticket Anne
