Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 26 5:46 am)
I don't think so. If my memory serves, there seemed to be a communication problem of some sort between the Poser team and the Lightwave team when the program was launched. There is a successful process of bringing Poser meshes into Lightwave (though it's for version 5.x) but I've lost the link to the tutorial in a disk crash.
If you just want to bring the objects into Lightwave, Modeler loads and saves both .OBJ and .3DS files. Lightwave 6 is supposed to have UV support, but I don't know anything about it. As far as translating Poser's IK or motion parameters, I think some people use LifeForms (3D motion/animation software) as an intermediary. But there is no direct plugin. You might want to check out the 3D Applications forum, there might be more info from the LW guys that hang out there. Regards- Lemurtek

Are there any lightwave export plugins for poser4?
