Subject: Most realistic texture

I was wondering if anybody has a link for a really realistic texture. Maybe one that was done using photographs of a real person if that makes any sense.

There are lots which fall into that category. For V2, you should check out Zeta Studios (www.zs3d.com) or the marketplace here for Steffyzz. There is also btsculptor, and maybe a few hundred more. For V3, as yet, IMO DAZ have the best textures.

Ouch. I just check those links. Not all of us have all those US dollars to fling around. I have just bought the DAZ low Res figure for reason of economy and am very happy with them but now I am looking for FREE photo type texture to work with for Victoria 2 and Micheal. I would love to support artist if I was able and did when I was in US and had US dollars flowing in... but now... maybe PayPall will accept one goat two chickens? My currancy isn't worth the paper its printed on.

I suggest www.3dpmr.com. membership is free, and here you find Steena, a very well done character whose texture can also be applied to Vicki 2. The site is somewhat difficult to navigate, but once you find her, I think you will be very pleased. Steena is free to download.

Check out Blackhearted's stuff in the Renderosity Marketplace. I've been using his Elowen texture for closeup work, etc and it's great.

There are two lovely free V3 textures if you check Free Stuff - one called Rose and the other Colleen, both of them are excellent.

For Michael frankfunk has the Bishop texture in Freestuff here. Also check out the Shaman texture for Mike. Both are photrealistic and look excellent on him.

I have been waiting for Bishop to become availble for a month. It still has not. What I am looking for is something like the Staale textures but for the V1/2 Millenium figures. Maybe I can cut-and-paste those V3 Irish indicates. 3dpmr is down this morning. I'll try later. Thank you.

Are Eowyn's reworkings of Staale's textures still available - some of those were for Victoria, but my links seem to be dead.

As far as I'm concerned, Zrincx makes the best textures for V2!
