go back to the set up room, open the group editor and look for a group named "no bone", if you can't see any orange mesh, go to wireframe display, it might be internal, then asign the mesh to a bone/bones. usually you'll get a message whrn you try to exit the setup room telling you there is mesh not assigned to a bone hope that helps

After someone asked about a TUX penguin earlier this week, I found a mesh and have begin 'poserizing' it as my first "from scratch" figure. (The mesh is not mine, but by now has been heavily modified for this purpose.)After I've got all the bones in and set up, I find a remnant which looks like a bone, but is not one of the named bones. When I click on it in the setup room, the name is simply "Figure1_SETUP". There is the triangular outline of this item in the setup room (actually almost completely inside my figure - only the tip points out.)
Can anyone offer any tips?
BTW, I hope to contact the original creator of this mesh which is released for personal use freely, and seek permission to add this posable character to freestuff.
