Any know how I can get true reflections in Poser 4? For objects I'm using Enviroment Maps but I'm after a polished look to a long refrectory table so the items on it can be slightly reflected. All help greatfully received. VH

Just looked through some of the past questions and answers on reflections and got my answer. You can't!! You can fake it, but that's no good for a model to sell. Ah well... it'll just have to look dull! VH

Thanks igohigh. I saw this, but it doesn't actually help me. This would be find if I was creating an image, but I need true raytracing reflections on a prop that I will be selling and I've discovered that Poser 4 just doesn't do it! Thanks again though! VH

Try Povray 3.5 & the utility to convert poser scenes to Povray format Poseray. I think Poseray is here in the freestuff. Do a search for Povray on the 'net.

Will this allow our buyers to get reflections on their models? Thanks VH

Povray is a raytracing program, your buyers will only be able to get reflections on their models if they use it to render their scenes. I don't think this helps you as your buyers will have to get both Povray & Poseray to create reflections when rendering. You can't create realistic reflections just using Poser 4.
