Just improving my image (bigger pic is in my gallery). I'm not sure how to make those lazers sharper, the paralel light intensity is 999 Any other advise? I still have a LOT to learn :]

looks really cool so far--maybe to make the lasers more recognizable, u could darken the color if them just a little bit, or u could make them darker in a program like photoshop or paint shop pro--otherwise it looks great so far!

make a long stretced cylinder that travels down the path of each beam. In the material properties, set it to additive by using the pulldown in the top of the materials Lab. Make it about 60% additive and a red ambient color. Hope that hekps!

Use cylinders made from that green glow preset that comes with Bryce. I find that it works well. Then adjust colors and intensity to your liking. :)

of course, you could also darken the sky a bit for more contrast..

You mean something like this. The outer cylinder is the preset in the complex section ("greenlit") with the colors changed. The inner cylinder is 100 diffusion and ambience with slightly pink colors.

Aldaron ( ) posted Sun, 02 March 2003 at 3:19 PM

Forgot to mention the inner cylinder is set to additive.
