Here is the link to the "Making of ..." webpage for Siege (http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=322332) and Invasion (http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=337290), two of my pics here. When I was writing this, it became obvious just how much work there is in writing a tutorial of any type, so my total respect goes to those that make these things on a regular basis. Also like to thank my test audience - Catlin_mc, DoubleCrash, Miyu, Ondine, for reading and providing some valuable feedback in the last week. Hope you find something of use in it - feedback welcome.

Totally cool...4.3 GB file...How long did it take to Render?

Flak ( ) posted Sun, 02 March 2003 at 7:17 PM

Render time total was unknown (all the bits rendered while I slept) - the 4.3GB was the combined total file size from all the br5 files.

Truely awesome! I always make bits and slap them together. Then I decide to change the camera angle and it goes to hell. I'm going to try your blocking technique on my next large scene. Thanks so much,

It's a great piece of writing Flak. What comes over very well is your love for what you do and your excitement for the creative process. Great piece of work all round. :) Catlin

This rocks, Flak! I've bookmarked it instantly. A very impressive technique, very well described. Whoa. Stefano

I'm definitely going to have to read this later! Thanks.

Hey, now I can read how you did it. Thanks!

Well, glad you liked it and found something useful in it. Catlin - you hit it in one. Its the creativity element, the ability to create whats in my head, that holds me to 3d and Bryce makes that creative process just so much easier for someone who simply can't draw to save his life like me.
