It looks a lot like my kitchen (I live in a 1920's house that was attacked by someone with a 1950's fashion sense)...I'm not sure that's a compliment or not. ;) Does remind me that there's something I've not seen in any kitchen setup...potholders! trivets! A roll of paper towels (I spill a lot). I love this little kitchen. My Gertrude and Frank can't wait to cook something up in it. You;ve done an amazing job. I expecially appreciate the not overly clean look of it. Sometimes, life gets in the way of scrubbing. Good job! Don't give up on it. :)
lalverson, it is indeed modular, and it will be available soon I hope. I plan to get it ready for upload in this coming week. Then it's up the the R'osity testers G

My first thought is where's the microwave-- an old one, of course, where the plastic's turned yellow with dirt or age. This is because mine went out over the weekend and life came to a halt.LOL. I don't know if you're going that modern, but I'm interested in using this for a crappy modern flat/apt-- somewhere close to Trash street. Yeah, they're right about the papertowel holder under the top cabinets. And probably a blender for diet drinks. All of which are possible incentive add-ons. Please say this is feedback and positive. I love it, especially the dirt. Emily
Very positive, queri. I didn't think of the microwave but it would fit in ok. I guess I could take a peep on my own old (17-18 years) model. And yes it still works :o) This IS supposed to be something like Trash Street from the inside. Not oldfashioned or modern, more like what you would find - a mixture of old and new - in some place where you can't afford to change all the furniture according to fashion :o) - or just don't bother, like myself. As long as the stuff WORKS, then who cares how old it is (Only exception being my computerLOL) Paper towel is high on my to-do list. And thanks for the idea, it was most likely one of the things I would have forgotten to make otherwise. A blender shouldn't be too hard either :o) Depending on the things that MUST be there, it will either be in the package or as a (free) add-on.

i like your kitchen. and i think the "dirty" textures are a great idea. will the applicances be removable? at some point, it would be incredibly easy to update the look with high gloss finishes and overhead cabinets, induction stove top and separate oven unit, and a modern glass front frigo.... great job.

I love the kitchen ernyoka1! It is a lot like my kitchen in many ways....and I think your description was a good one. It is some old, some new, some borrowed.....some blue! :) Gertrude sitting at the table reminds me of someone I know.....just can't think of who it is right now. Oh! It just occured to me! She looks a bit like Bette Davis at that angle! Please don't give up on the kitchen. It is already on my list and you haven't even posted it! :) There should maybe be a towel bar for terry cloth towels, some pot holders as someone mentioned, a toaster, bread box and some wall hangings....flowers, roosters, cows, pigs....a wall clock, light over the sink?? Girl...you could go crazy listening to us! I think it looks great now...you can always do an add-on pack for more items later....including an "ultra-modern" version!:)
Uhm... What's a pot holder?? I'd love to include them/it if only I knew what it was L

Pot holders are for setting pans on or to pick pans up so that you don't burn your hands or fingers. They can be made out of yarn or material. Crocheted, knitted, sewn, quilted, etc. They usually have loop or attachment so you can hang them hooks so they can be handy in case you need to grab something off the stove or from the oven. They can be just about any shape....most often square or circular.Ah! Grydelapper :o) Well, I'll knit a pair of those for sure L

Ernyoka 1, what I love about your stuff is that it is "real world" :) One of the reasons I hung back getting poser for as long as I did was that I'm not much into the "model look". My purchases probably bear that out to some extent :) I love the characters (both props and people) that one might find in history or in real life. Your kitchen will be a wonderful addition to my burgeoning computer library! :) You have a real talent and skill that I lack....modeling! I can create a good picture every now and then and may even post one if I think it's good enough for anyone to see. But I can't do what you do. I don't have the brain for it. The rest of us couldn't create our images without those of you who know how to make this stuff:)
blush aww Sandy... That was nice said :o)
