What, in your opinion, is the BEST V3 accessory to have? What are the essentials?

IMHO, it would be the extra morph packs from Daz - the V3 Male pack and the V3 Morph Expansion Pack. :o) Laurie

Agree with LaurieA about the V3 Male Pack & Expansion Pack as long as you already have the V3 Base, Head Morphs pack, and Body Morphs pack.

The morph packs are good. I also like the makeup maps.

Yeah, I guess I shouldn't assume everyone has all the rest of those as well ;o). I just don't consider V3 as V3 without the base, Head Morph pack and body morph packs. They are most necessary to the original figure :o). Laurie

Glamorous Vicki is great quality for that glamorous look at a decent price. The Daz's Active Wear set has proven to be versatile, and it fits her extremely well of course. For a great price you can get the Nissa hair here, and it looks cool. Over at Poserpros there's an X-pack Complete, which is a total warddrobe for Vicki at a good price. While you're there, get Cin's Ryn Full texture set. Normal, make-up and fantasy textures at a great price. I love diversity. There's the Exotica Collections here for good long skirts and tops. Sebastian at RDNA for v3 male rocks. A Subscription to Poserworld gets you a ton of quality stuff, & don't forget the Daz Platinum Club.

Well now if you are referring to clothes and props, then I think you can't do better than a subscription to Poserworld. You just can't find a better value for the money. And Steve cranks out more V3 clothes and accessories (and GREAT one's at that) than anyone else at this point. The bonus to a sub there is not only do you get great V3 stuff, but also a lot of nice stuff for all the other characters as well :o). And the props and scenes are pretty nice to. Laurie

Agree with LaurieA. A PoserWorld Sub should be first on the list for all characters. There's even something for AIKO. And the mill. kids!

I bought all the Daz3d V3 model addon packs, head and body packs are pretty much required, male pack is good. Poserworld subscription has been a HUGE value for V3 in the clothing dept. Xena's X-Pack full at poserpros is a great pack, Sprinter has some great dresses for V3. Mec4d Nikita texture pack, Steffz's moria (spelling) is a great texture pack (2 for 1 actually), as well as the freebie pack Rose here in freestuff. I think it's still early in V3 life, more and more keeps coming out. my2cents

I really like all the DAZ V3 figure and make-up textures, they were a super deal when they came out if you belonged to the Platinum club. I had bought one of the original V1 textures years ago and it was so horrid I resolved to never buy another, I'm glad I tried these, though. Probably the best accessory for V3 is a copy of Studio Max, that is all I need to make her anything she needs, as long as somebody else (MAB) does the textures! Oh, that and about 3 years of pratice... ;-)

It's the educational version, so I couldn't go commercial with it, but wow, does V3 render quite nice with version 5's lighting setups. School's got me pretty busy of late, but I'll be starting some of the tutorials for it this weekend. Ciao all! Evo

Yeah, I gotta learn how to render in Max, all I do is make things in it. Only time I tried rendering I ran into problems with my hair, I understand there is a setting to render the hidden side, that is off by default, and has to be turned on. Something to try when I find the time!
