Subject: finally got the Computer arts with Amapi..which reminds me..

I thought I saw in an earlier thread that there was a site called 'Great Buildings', or somesuch, but that the files were in .3dmf format. Reading the current issue (in the States', we run about 1-2 issues behind) it looks like Amapi 5.15 can handle that format. So we may be able to use the building models from there after all..now who remembers what the original thread was?..;)
Also, there was a quick blurb about Daz's upcoming program, that is expected out mid-year..sorry to repeat for the UK folks, but this is just getting to our ears..;)

Computer Arts basically repeated what Dan Farr posted in Poser Forum. :-) And go to www.daz3d.com, to Software, there are some screenshots and information more. BTW, they use Flash.

yeah..was afraid I was repeating myself..but thought the program could be of use as a converter, if not an actual modeller (have 4.15, but the 'snap to grid' bit was driving me nuts..maybe they fixed it by 5.15..;)
