Subject: problems with depth of field...

I'm trying to render a scene with the depth of field camera, and can't get it to look right. I can set the focus to 1 or 1000 and still get an entire scene blurred. Intensity is set to 50%, foreground blur set to 0% and background set to 100%. Anybody know why I am not getting a depth of field render, but rather and entirely blurred scene? TIA. HG...

hehe..glad to see I am not the only one who has this problem :) Actually from what I can see of this effect I wouldnt even use it. Its a post render effect, so I cant see how it can even work as it only works to a finished pic. I recommend you slam your pic into photoshop and just slap on a radial blur..from what I can see Carrara is doing exactly that :(
