Does anyone out there use the Ultra rendering settings and/or render larger than screen size to file? I'm wondering if there is any significant quality improvement doing either. - SMT

I'd rather stay in my lane than lay in my stain!

I only render in Ultra, I notice a big difference. It takes a lot of the grain out. I usually only render in the default screen size, since I don't really have reason to render larger than that, but Ultra is the way to go!

I also only render in Ultra because I use focal blur extensively and that is the only setting which renders it smoothly. I render most of my images at 2400x1800. If my image does not use either focal blur or motion blur, then Final is usually good enough. -karl
