I recall there was a Dutch company that had some very good ones that they had available for free download but I can't find the site now.

Er...it IS a member site. sorta. But membership is free. you just have to sign in to download the files. I just got the link from my bookmarks and I fly right in.. It must have saved my password then. Anyway, this IS the site with the free bvh's

One caveat: the MOTEK files aren't in BVH format. You have to convert them with the free utility provided.

It is a nice collection, however. That's where I got the mo-cap file for my Music Box Dancer animation.

The files at e-motek are in .bvh if you choose the Max motions when it asks what software you are using.
