Ok, Ive taken the plunge and went back to the Pro Pack so I could use Vue. The attached image is my first result. This image was originally supposed to have three people in it 2 Mikes (the Wizard and a Barbarian) and 1 Vicki (Veronica Year 2). As you can see there is only 1 Mike and 1 Vicki. And thats because every time I tried adding the second Mike, he ended up with the first Mikes FBM (thin), which, IMHO, makes a barbarian look really funny. So, thats when I thought, maybe this is the crosstalk Ive read so much about. So I downloaded the MILLNULL objects from DAZs site and followed the instructions to the letter with the same results. Well, I thought, why dont I pose and set up the second Mike in a scene all his own and then import him back into the original scene. I got the same results a really big skinny Mike. I guess my question is, is this cross talk and how the heck do I get around it:). I dont remember running into this way back when I was using PPP, but then again I dont know if I even tried using two of the same models in one scene. Thanks for the help! ~ Brent ~

It is Crosstalk & I have some bad news for you. Once a scene has had crosstalk you can't get away with doing what you did. starting from a completely new scene is the only way to stop crosstalk, load mike then a null figure then the second mike, importing a scene like you did will also cause the crosstalk even with a null figure loaded.

Like c1rcle said, but I thought you needed to load the null figure first, stated in the read me I have. Then after every normal figure used after that. It's such a habit to use null, quite often I'll load it when not needed. But I guess I could have worst habits.

I missed one critical step... By default, I have Poser setup to load Mike, so what I did was delete Mike, load the NULL and then load Mike again - and I got the same results as before. So, when I said I followed the steps "to the letter" I guess I was mistaken grin I've now replaced my default settings to load an empty scene so I could then load the NULL and then the characters. Thanks c1rcle and beryld for your replies!

you could be right about that beryld :) it's a real pain when you have a scene that's got crosstalk because there's nothing you can do to get rid of it except use Poser5 :)

I don't have P5, once they have a stable version I'll get it. So till then I'll keep using P4 and Pov-Ray, and Gimp. Yes I'm cheep.
