Here is my first atempt at any challenge in bryce. though i detest metaballs with a passion, i've given into the demands, and cheated a little.. see the comets, there are my required two. *grins*

though after seeing some of the others, i don't think i'll have much of a chance of winning this month, oh well i'm just happy to enter.

Participating is already 100% of the fun of the challenge. Winning can make it 101%, but even I haven't won yet and I've entered the challenge several times now. It's the bryceing and the challenge part that makes it fun and I think your fun resulted in a great image. I like the textures.

very nice job... you didn't ask, but, if you'll accept it, I'd offer one small bit of advice.... unless those comets are orbiting two different stars, and their proximity would indicate otherwise, then their tales should be pointing in the same direction. Other than that small item, I think this a great job for a first entry.... hell, WITH that small item, it's a great job for a first entry... Welcome aboard.

ummm... 'tales' should be 'tails'... where'd I put that coffee?!? {:O

To follow on FWTempest's point: there's a 'sun' in view, so the comets tails should logically point away from that sun.

to be perfectly honest, I threw the comets into the scene because I like to try to follow the rules set before me. hensh the 2 metaballs.. I'd prefure to remove them from the scene completely.
