Subject: moral high ground

George Bush and company, with the emphasis on company, have declared the moral high ground. But a declaration is not enough, it must be backed with the intentional slaughter of civilians and soldiers alike. Well not really alike since far more civilians die during and after a war than soldiers.

The moral high ground can not be scaled by the Pope. Not even in a 4 wheel drive pope mobile. The Pope can only decry the Bush wars as immoral and illegitimate. Saddam aka Stalin has no claim on the moral high ground but can claim thousands executed by his decree.

France, Germany and even a world court have also claimed the moral high ground. To the victor will go the spoils no matter who gains the high ground. The majority of the world is against the war but all the elite minority need do is call them an enemy rabel.

Only George Bush and Company have the money (our money) the stamina (our stamina) and muscle (our bodies) to ascend to the top of the heap and claim the moral high ground as his own. Standing on the summit before the blood has even dried, with sword in hand he will crow and brag of the freedom he has wrought. With a moral mandate the costs of his profits will be ignored like an unidentifiable corpse.

The moral high ground is never moral but it is always about what is in, and on the ground.

Is it not more about control of whatever resources the "other side" may hold than about morality?

My response

PARTIAL SIGHT

Wrong or right
Try partial sight

Pardon, sir?
Youre searching
High and low
Far and wide
For a secret smoking gun?

Well, sir
Look no further
Than than the hot and heavy
Pistol nestling
In the palm of your hand.

Dumbfounded
Gun found.

In my opinion it all has to do with how much money the Bush Family has tied up in Mid-East oil. Has nothing to do with disarmament or protection of civilians. Its all one big mess and its beginning to scare me.
