Subject: Can't open resourse

I have a figure (spaceman from free stuff) that I've used in scenes before, now when I try to load the figure I get "can't open resourse" - the obj file. I've tried recopying it - didn't work, then I deleted all the file for it tried to load a saved pz3 that has the figure and I get the same message!? Only having problems with this figure? Any suggestions?

you have to have the obj in the proper directory. if it is a character in your library - go to the folder where the character is stored [in library folder] - open the cr2 file and you will see a line saying runtime:geometries:foldername:object.obj Verify that it is in the proper obj folder [foldername]. If it is - could be that the obj has been corrupted. Change the CR2 to point to a different foldername: in Geometries then make the new directory in runtime:geometries and reinstall (from downloaded file). If you can then install the figure - would make a big guess that your hard drive needs work. Otherwise, really doesn't make any sense. Hope this helps Good Luck

Thanks, but I'm still at a loss, This is what it says in the pz3: figureResFile :aa:alienga:alien_ga2.obj I have an aa/alienga/alien_ga2.obj in geometries. (this is all in P4) And I've tried re-copying it, and deleting the rsr. So I'm not sure what else to try.

Thanks to all that responded. I deleted everything, unzipped an archive, and re-installed. There is a mix up in the original files where it calls for alien_ga2, but file is named alien_ga. Re-named file and all works fine. Why I started having the problem, and why the other fixes didn't work is one for the "WHO CARES IT WORKS FINE NOW FILE"".... thanks for the hand holding.
