might be cause It says u need the male morph pack as well. I dont have it, im gonna try to use it anyway. I figure U would only need it for the male charicter anyway. But alas i might be wrong.

tasquah ( ) posted Wed, 12 March 2003 at 8:36 PM

Ohh Ohh I think i know !! The injection you refering to is accualy a male pack injection so A) Did you purchase the V3 male and if so what version of it do you have ??? At some points in time it was called InjDeltas.PBMDC_44_BrowCurved.pz2 then it was called InjDeltas.DC_44_BrowCurved.pz2 Look in your Poser 4RuntimeLibraries!DAZVictoria 3MalePakDeltas Folder and see what number 44 is called .

nope i just went to the site to see that. U do have to have the SR1.1 updates for the head, body and vic3. do u have those?

Crescent ( ) posted Wed, 12 March 2003 at 9:33 PM

Yes, there was. Oddly enough, I don't see it mentioned on the DAZ site, but I know I had to do an update for the male morphs as well. Cheers!

tasquah ( ) posted Wed, 12 March 2003 at 9:52 PM

yes 1.1 and you got the update on your check out page it should be there some were. You dont need it if you bought it recently , they have already fixed the problums. It isnt listed on the product page any more . They suposedly sent emails to all purchaers notifying them . Its hould be some were in your purchase area at Daz's if not email them .

tasquah ( ) posted Wed, 12 March 2003 at 9:57 PM

If you do the update its kind of a pain in the A@@ . You have to do deleteing and reinstalling. They changed the way the injectors called for the pose from the pose folder directly to the !DAZ folder. They also renamed some stuff as you found out the hard way.

spudgrl ( ) posted Wed, 12 March 2003 at 10:19 PM

ohhh cool. Ok so Thats why I didnt need an update.

PheonixRising ( ) posted Wed, 12 March 2003 at 10:38 PM

Yeah updating can be a pain but part of improvement and change. I hate doing it myself. Like doing laundry. :) The Faces shapes won't work without the Male Pack. The Male Pack had some pretty unique and specific shaping morphs included. Without it the faces will be petite but odd looking. you also must have the latest V3 service Release from a some weeks ago. As long as you have those you should have no problems. Just an FYI a Cool Body Morph to go with the the faces is: Fearie .75 Young .5 With the eyes left at normal sizes the faces make some pretty sweet Victorian and 1920's maidens. Enjoy them, Anton

I just made sure I have all the updates, and to be sure, I reinstalled it! Now not only will the anime ijections not work, but now the regular male injections won't work :( Also where are the new anime injection files suppose to be located? They don't show up in the pose library, or expression library, in P5 there isn't a face library, so I made a daz folder in the expressions and copied the files in there. But I am still getting the same error message. It is looking the file in the pic I'm posting, and the only male curved brow injection pose I can find, starts with H not DC as it's calling for. So what am I doing wrong? lol the arrow in pic is pointing at wrong file, sorry, meant to point is at the one right below.

The male injection file it is looking for is in this folder: RuntimeLibraries!DAZVictoria 3MalePakDeltas Your looking at the .pz2s that apply morphs. The delta files are in the folder above. I'm checking with Rob on this one in regards to the inj file names. Hang in there.

So did you find the face files? When I loaded it, they were in runtime/face, not runtime/library/face. Strange.

About the 3rd of February there was an email sent out to all who purchased the Victoria 3 Male Morph Pak. That email contained information regarding an update to the pak. If you purchased the pak after that date, you should already have the update by default.

Curious to know if you have the update?

In "Runtimelibraries!DAZVictoria 3MalePak" there are two folders named "Deltas" and "ChanVis".

In the Deltas folder, if you have files that have the prefix "InjDeltas.DC_" and "RemDeltas.DC_" (vice ".PBMDC_")

In the ChanVis folder, if you have files with the prefix "Hide.DC_" and "Unhide.DC_" (vice ".PBMDC_")

In "Runtimelibrariesface", if you have a folder named "!V3 MalePak Heads" with several [30] face poses in it

You have the update.

If you do not have the update, contact tech@daz3d.com with your account/order details so they can verify purchase. When verified, they will provide you with the update.

RE: "I do get a message when I apply the anime injections, saying some information doesn't apply to the figure..."

Ryan will be posting a file on the Victoria 3 Head Morph Pak product page (http://store.daz3d.com/catalog/product.php?pidx=2104)
that corrects this error, shortly.

The error is the result of an incorrectly labeled channel reference in the file "Runtimelibraries!DAZVictoria 3HeadChanVisUnhide.TthLoDepth.pz2". The fix is a simple one (the file is only 16 lines long), should you choose to correct it yourself. Simply open the file in a text editor and replace the word "TthLoDpth" with "TthLoDepth", then save.

Our apologies for any inconveniences this may have caused.

-Rob

My Deltas and ChanVis folders seem right, but I only have 10 inject and 10 rem files in my Male face folder. Anyone have 30 files in their face folder? I would like to know before I bother Daz.

pokeydots ( ) posted Thu, 13 March 2003 at 6:17 PM

I have 13 of each inj and rem

I just got the male pack last week, you would think it would be complete. Thanks pokeydots, I know I'm missing some now.

PheonixRising ( ) posted Thu, 13 March 2003 at 6:39 PM

It is complete. You should have 13 files in the Face folder. Where are you coming up with 30?. Reinstall using your execultable. You might have moved or deleted some by mistake.

Ok, tried 3 times and 1 time to a different folder, still only 10. Should I contact Daz and get the update or just download the files again. Thanks for the help.

PheonixRising ( ) posted Thu, 13 March 2003 at 7:07 PM

You are fine. We are all just confused now with all these different folders and poses being discussed. In the inj/rem there are 13 each. The faces you should have only 10 which are: Brian Christopher Dan David Jeremy Joshua Kyle Lindsay Sean William You are just fine. If in doubt just refer to what it says on the product page

My bad... at quick glance I saw 60 files. 60/2 = 30, 1 rsr per 1 fc2. I just looked again, after noticing the comment above... DUH! Man, I need some sleep. 60/3 = 20, 1 png per 1 rsr per 1 fc2... I looked at the ProPack install dir, not the standard install dir.

I stand corrected. Where I say '[30]' in the post above, I should've said '[20 Sets]'.

10 INJ fc2's
10 INJ rsr's
10 REM fc2's
10 REM rsr's

And if you are looking at a ProPack install...
10 INJ png's
10 REM png's

I'm sorry. I should know better than to post when I'm tired.
