Hello, I just got and installed Poser 5 but I have a small problem. I want to export "Mike" as a .3ds so I can Import it into Bryce 5. This works fine but how do I export him as a high poly model? Because in bryce it tells me he has 256 polys and when I render him he is way to blocky. I am sure this is a very simple question but I dont know the answer 8P

In bryce double click object and change smoothing. I see more than 256 polys. There just not smoothed.

Lynn's right on smoothing - but you need to select the whole Poser import and hit the little "E" gadget next to the objects and then hit click the Smooth sphere. You won't have to do this if you export to WaveFront .OBJ rather then .3DS. The .OBJ format includes the smoothing data when exported and exports the same "square" polygons that Poser uses. .3DS dosen't include smoothing and only uses triangular polygons which don't look as good. There's also a lot of 3rd party apps (like UVMapper) that only work on .OBJ files. The Michael model has 33,980 polygons btw. HTH; Dan
