Here it is, I ditched the idea of placing humans inside to the better thought of an alien invasion. Metaballs inside the pod, photorealistic textures there, etc. Let me know if I missed anything. The planetary texture is also slightly better. The link takes you to a larger version available in my gallery. Enjoy, thanks for a great challenge, I was | | that close from making a crapper with a floater -since it's a quest too =D In this case the quest is pretty obvious, it's an alien species searching for its next spawning ground.
