Sorry Porthos I am only part Celt, and non gaelic speaking. I just have a very few phrases. Would love to learn, but have never had the chance. 's e do beatha (I hope that's right)

That's alright chohole - it was great. I must admit my Gailge is a bit rusty and I live in Ireland too! LOL! Should have paid more attention at school! LOL! What I said in the phrase: She looks lovely and thanks a million! :^)

That is a gorgeous feis dress. All feis dresses make me wish I was an Irish dancer and not a regular old ballet/tap/jazz one. Tutus are so over-rated. My gaelic is limited to somewhere around 'Good morning', 'goodbye' (both going and staying ooooh ;-)) and 'Thank you'. I would love to learn more, I think it's a beautiful tongue. I'd like to learn Welsh as well. I'm still attempting to stick to my good ol' Canadian routes and be an allophone. Maybe once I master that I can pick up something else. Anyway, gorgeous pic. Caith siar is nlig aniar Ach is leor nod don eolach, a chairde: seachnaan roth stitha! (Ok, I cheated, but at least I did my research :-)) -Stage

Hi Porthos - waving at you from a bit up the coast here - Co. Mayo! Oh, and I might as well do a site plug (see link above!) whilst I'm here - we've got a lot of links to resources for learning Irish on it and (to keep it on topic for the Poser forum!) we've just launched a Celtic Tarot card project - a bit like the 'Osity year-long card contest, but without any prizes, or end date! My Irish gets me as far as 'I'm fine, how are you...' and 'thank you'!Hi Darkgiger "Waves back" Sure aren't ya only a stone's throw from Galway! LOL! Thanks for the site link - will take a look see! My Irish could do with a brush up! :)
